12 Ways To Kill A Budding Book

Well not exactly kill. When you ask opinions on the opening chapter of the book that you just started writing on your cell phone and you receive a barrage of points without even a single compliment, you may just have to be Ronda Rousey to get back up.

This was the case with a young budding writer, here’s what happened in screenshots.

At the end of it all, each person has their way and wish to express something within. Nobody begins a book with the whole plot and plan. It’s encouragement and focus on the most compelling parts of it, even if they’re small. This is what boosts one to go on to be great, growing and improving along the way. If you cannot share the encouragement needed at such a fragile stage for a writer you may damage them before they even start and it’s best to say nothing.

Anyway here’s Bob!

He said kill it before it grow –
He said kill them before they grow.
And so:

Angel (I can’t lie) Lewis
